A true Californian at heart, Alice Nguyen has brought an eclectic mix of LA style and San Francisco soul to her current life in Singapore. From the designer showrooms on Robertson Boulevard of West Los Angeles, to the speciality boutiques of San Francisco’s hip Union Street, she understands the breadth of California lifestyle and sensitivity.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Berkeley, a foundation of liberal thought and intellectual challenge was laid for Alice. She then continued on to study fine arts at Chelsea School of Art in London, where her true passion to explore creative thinking finally surfaced. Studying Interior Design at the University of California Los Angeles naturally followed as she returned to The States.

Hirsch Bedner & Associates was Alice’s platform to enter the Interior Design world professionally. Based in Santa Monica, California, HBA is the number one interior design firm globally, having specialized in renown hospitality projects all over the world for nearly four decades. Alice later worked as a Senior Designer in the HBA Singapore office, experiencing the design industry in Asia and Southeast Asia first hand. Her FF&E portfolio with the firm includes five star hotels and resorts, spas, bars, restaurants, guestrooms and presidential suites.

Currently an independent design consultant, Alice has extensive interior design experience to offer both the commercial and residential sectors. Her global portfolio includes projects in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Montreal, Palau, Singapore, Bangkok, Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong, Goa, and Jakarta. Her design style is diverse and versatile, capable of adapting to every unique project. From old world classical to new world retro modern, Alice’s innate eye for aesthetics, color, texture, proportion and space is her strength.
